This facility has one eighteen hole course and a par 3 nine hole course. The eighteen hole Pine View Course offers enough variety of terrain to challenge the most experienced golfer. The fairways vary in width and undulation, and the greens are medium in size and speed. There are large trees that line many holes, and water hazards come into play on several others. The Pine Island signature hole is #1, an 86-yard, par 3, featuring an island green. Green fees indicated for the Pine Island Course is for all-day play. Tee times are reserved for weekends only on both courses.

Pines Municipal Golf Course, The
"Tough for it's size"
I'm origianally from Toccoa and have played this golf course many many times. While only a 9 hole course, it is worth the money to play it. It is far less expensive than most golf corses and offers real challenges for even experienced golfers. The terrain is extremely hilly and almost every hole has an extreme change in elavation. The green's are extremely small and very very fast. During the summer the fairways and greens are fairly well manicured although winter play tends to be a little harder on some holes due to a harder fairways from less moisture. Fairways are extemely tight with hundreds of opportunities to lose balls in pine forests and a courseside lake on the last two holes. Overall, not an allstar course but for a quick, challenging, and inexpensive round well worth the time.

Rancho Solano Golf Course
"Rancho review"
A medium difficult course with variable slopes,and hill sides with a different lie angle on nearly every shot. Large undulating greens with good speed. The greens are near perfect right now but that doesn't mean they're a push over. Making it one the green is only the start. A challenge.
