This course is very difficult because of the many trees lining its hilly fairways. There is a canal running through the course that comes into play on some holes. The course is located in the heart of Canyon Country, and is surrounded by National and State Parks and Monuments. There is an additional set of men's tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

this is now an 18 hole course and it is AWESOME. Golfable.com should update its directory ASAP. Don't let this gem go hidden any longer. The new name is The Hideout and it is 18 holes of pure pleasure!!

Whispering Oaks Golf & Country Club
"OUTSTANDING VALUE"
Played it many times. Expansive layout, well manicured, nice greens. A little dry at times, but thats the neighborhood. Recent updates such as massive waste-bunkers installed in various locations make it attractive, looks expensive. A very fun course to play. Better than 2 or 3 other courses in the area. Water holes are a challenge and beautifully presented. But don't tell anybody, I like the course to myself. Going back Feb 3rd to the 13th 2004.

This golf course is in the best shape ever!! it has the best greens in the country. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would reccommend this course to anyone at anytime. It challenges the scratch golfer as well as the high handicapper.

Inconsistent greens throughout and tee boxes from hell. The 12th tee grass is 6 inches tall all the time....please someone wake up. The range is closed to paying customers and open to members only. Big deal it's just a stupid field. If you want to play fun golf, go somewhere else.

"Can Be Rough"
Must catch early in the season due to the amount of play it gets. Looks a little worn out by July, especially if there is no rain. Could use some improvement. I have played worse.
