This course, built on fairly flat terrain, affords generous landing areas in its fairways. Two lakes and a variety of streams come into play on the course. The signature hole is #18, a 395-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot over a pond to a well-bunkered green. Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays.

I have traveled all around the US and this is a very fine golf course. It's staff is very nice and courteous. The course is well maintained. I would definitly reccomend you stop by and play this golf course. The number is (317)831-4774

Whispering Pines Golf Club
"Childhood Hole in One"
I got my hole-one-on the par-3 7th. Its the kind of hole that it could happen any day to any of us. And hey, thats gotta be worth something!!! The green is two tiered and the top tier is hard to stay on, the ball likes to role down to the bottom, always where the pin is. You tee off from above, the hole is about 120 yrds I think. So, get it on the green, watch it role and you've got yourself a chance my friend! Overall, the course is a 9 holer and its fun. Golf period...is fun, come on right.

Lake Platte Golf Club
"It's Okay"
This course is okay as far a playability goes. When I went there were dead spots of grass in the fairways and the greens, however we were in the middle of a drought during this time. For a small town golf course, it is pretty good.

"Good Course at a fair price,"
The course is decent in upkeep, not the greatest greens but a nice and challenging course at times with greens protected by bunkers in touch positions. Course management is a little on the off side, they have no control over how many are on the course, and will load it up way past capacity, as well as never using any marshalling to speed up play. Weekdays are good times to play because of the lessened Traffic
