Green Briar Golf Course

1130 Morris Majestic Rd
Morris, AL 35116
Phone: (205)647-2680

This par 3 course, located out in the countryside, is easy to walk. The fairways vary from wide to narrow and the degree in which they are wooded. Yet what makes this short course so difficult are its flat greens that are quite small and hard to hit. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on two holes. The signature hole is #1, a 130-yard, par 3, requiring an approach shot to a sloping green that is guarded by water on one side and a sand bunker in the rear. The scorecard doesn't show handicaps for individual holes.

Good Par 3 course, Mar 13, 2005
reviewer: LH from Mount Olive, AL
I have been to this course a couple of times. Is a fairly simple layout with a few challenging hole locations. All-in-all a great value for the money. Golf course staff are very friendly and helpful.

Golfable Golf Quote of the Day:
" The fundamental problem with golf is that every so often, no matter how lacking you may be in the essential virtues required of a steady player, the odds are that one day you will hit the ball straight, hard, and out of sight. This is the essential frustration of this excruciating sport. For when you've done it once, you make the fundamental error of asking yourself why you can't do this all the time. The answer to this question is simple: the first time was a fluke. -Colin Bowles "
