This course is located just a few hundred yards from the Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport. The design includes major elevation changes and the clubhouse sits 320 feet above sea level, which is the highest point in the county. Some holes do remain flat, but others climb as high as sixty feet above the fairway. The design includes several bunkers and approximately five acres of water that come into play on several holes, including a lake that splits holes #11 and #12, a holding pond above #7, and a natural spring that winds throughout the course.

The Twin Lakes Golf Course is an 18 hole par 70 course with tree lined fairways and bentgrass greens. This is a semi-private course opeerated by its over 350 members. The course is open to the public on a daily fee basis. Visitors to the Twin Lakes area find this challenging course a delight. The information provided about this site on golfable.com is dated. This course is in need of reconstructed greens, they slope away from the tee. Some holes have trees in fairways, not user freindly at all.
