cheap owner, Jun 27, 2011

First of all, I like the course - can be a tough course if you can't hit the ball where you want it to go. Beautiful course, well designed by Jim Dahl who has since built Oak Hill in Rice, Mn and Eagle Landing just North of Little Falls on Hwy. 371. Unfortunately, the carts are so old that they should have collector plates on them !! The owner is probably one of the cheapest people I have ever seen. I must say though, he may be cheap, but he does have a nice course, a well done to Jim Dahl for his design, well done.

Well worth the drive, Aug 25, 2010

This is the best course as far as difficulty and beauty that I have ever played. Well maintained and a great rate. if you don't hit staight bring alot of balls. Not your boring links course. Lots of trees and elevation changes. I have payed twice as much for a round of golf in Fargo that wasn't 1/4 the quality of this course.

Hilly and Woodsy, Jul 08, 2004
reviewer: Perry Thorvig from Minneapolis
This ten year old course has some very beautiful holes. Unfortunately, the course if virtually unwalkable except by the most hearty golfer. It requires a cart. Some of the holes are very difficult. Number 8 requires your tee shot to be in a very small diameter circle in order to have a chance of hitting the green on your next shot. Number 2 requires a perfect first and second shot to just reach the green. The fairways are very tight and a lot of balls can be lost. There are some very rewarding holes too. Par 4 number 14 can be reached by the big hitter. The dogleg on number 13 can also be cut by the golfer who can hit a high tee shot.
