This course was built on the site of an antebellum plantation. It is ranked by both "GOLF Magazine" and "Golf Digest" as a top ten resort course. This course runs parallel to the Cooper River and features many 200-year-old oak trees draped in Spanish moss. In addition, there are marshlands coming into play throughout the course. The fairways are wide, and the greens are well bunkered. Saturday green fees are slightly higher than the rest of the week.

| The course was in immaculate condition when I played it the last week of April, 2009. I came back mid August after the aerification and it was not in perfect shape, but still very playable. I was very impressed with the layout. It's got some interesting greens. Good for all skill levels. #18 is a replica of $18 @ Harbourtown Golf Links, except instead of a lighthouse there is the clubhouse and it is shorter. |
