This tree-lined course was built on rolling terrain. The fairways are open, but there is a low-cut of rough bordering them. The greens are undulating with some tiering, and their speeds are somewhat fast. Water hazards come into play on four holes, so accurate shotmaking is at a premium. The ladies' par is actually 75.

The tees where nice - fairway kept - greens nice - old carts - club house clean but small - a great deal for the money. Will play again.

The problem with this course is that the greens are not well taken care of. The fairways run adjacent to each other so you will frequently have to look out for golf balls flying towards your way by novice golfers.

This course is back on the map. I use to play it a long time ago but was never in good condition. You should see it now. The new owners have begun work on the irrigation system, cart paths all the way around and over seeded the entire course. It is definiteley a must play for the value.

Briarwood Golf Club
"overpriced"
Briarwood Golf Club used to be an OK course to play. They have wide fairways and fast greens. There is quite a bit of damage to the 18th green due to vandalism but it seems to be getting back in shape. The main problem is that a new company bought the course. The previous owner gave public service (police,EMS, FD) a discount charging only $12 with a cart M-F. This is a fair price to pay. I played on a friday morning and was shocked to find that I was charge $32. This was WAY TOO much to pay.
