Nile Shrine Golf Course

Phone: (425)776-5154Fax: (425)672-1833
Although the course is located in a metropolitan area, it is well-enclosed and has a park-like atmosphere. The fairways are fairly narrow, gently rolling and require the golfer to play position golf. The greens are small to medium in size, fairly flat, and two are double tiered. The signature hole is #14, a 578-yard, par 5, requiring a lay-up tee shot from an elevated tee box. The second shot must carry over water. Course access with a cart is weather dependent. This course is owned by the Shriners, but is open to the public. However, only members of the club are allowed to use the restaurant and bar.

Joe Korn = Ball Strikin' Jesse!, Jun 15, 2011 |

| Saw ol' Joe Korn strike a few off of number 1 tee blocks. That fella is a ball strikin' Jesse, pards! I ain't never seen a divot like that since my peepaw struck a mashie outta the dustbowl. Hell, I'd bet donuts to rusty ratchets that a fella could plant a potater patch right there in one of ol' Korn's divvies! |

| Been having a great time at Nile Golf Course. I am a regular and will continue to be one! Make you feel at home. Joe Korn is not a little man, wonder who Ivan had a problem with.. Regardless, FUN COURSE. Bill |

Great course, May 07, 2008 |

| I had the pleasure of playing Nile with my wife recently, and even got a few swing tips free of charge from the teaching pro, Joe Korn. That never happens at any other course I have been to. I expect we will be getting lessons this summer now. Pretty decent prices. |

Great Outing, Feb 14, 2007 |

| The course is great, the previous reviews sum it up nicely. The problem for me was the angry little man behind the counter, Joe Korn according to the website. His professionalism was right up there with the soup nazi. Would have been a better day not having to deal with him. |

| Great place to bring a beginner. Never seems too busy. Course is always in good shape and, with the exception of one par 3 that seems to be out of place because it is so short, there is a lot of variety. You will use every club in the bag, which is saying a lot for a relatively short course. The best thing about it is that you can always play 18 in less than four hours! |

The best kept golfing secret in greater Seattle, Mar 04, 2004 |

| A small Sandpoint Country Club - a well maintained private course open to the public! Only 5000 yds, however, there are no "gimmie" holes - plenty of challenges and hazards for the average golfer. Don't let the yardage fool you. Fun to play and usually in less than 4 hours. |
