I think the Meadows is an awesome little 9 hole course! Very challenging and well laid out. Other than putting up with local riff raff like Craig and Rob Davis, it's a great golf experience. It must take a very controlled player to break "40" on this charismatic course!!

This course is work for the average golfer. If you are looking for a fun nine holes, go elsewhere. The bluegrass rough is thick & should be mowed shorter to facilitate locating your ball & speeding up play. The overall condition of the course is very good...It is well maintained, but as I mentioned, the rough could be maintained a little better. The greens are fast, which I like, but don't hold approach shots as well as they could...They may need plugging. The two par three holes are both in excess of 200 yards. One is 200+ yards up hill with a tee box located fairly close to the green. There are no senior tee boxes, so with the length of this course, seniors (as well as average golfers) will struggle.

"golf nut"
Where is the water? it is only on one hole, and it is not in play. You could hit a 9 iron over it. Short, but tight track. well kept, with a few good holes. only a couple stupid holes.

"Good Course"
I am a beginner golfer, and this is the place i am learning how to play. The staff is friendly and the other players always lend a helping hand. the course isnt too difficult, but its not easy. especially holes 2 and 6 where you have to hit over water. It's a nice course to play and I recomend it to anyone in the area.

Santa Anita Golf Course
"Busy but a challenge"
Have to hit the ball in the fairway, but fairways are generous. Lots of trees. Greens elevated, lots of mounding. Greens never fast, but do have movement. You can shoot your handicap here, but going under your handicp will take a lot of focus. Beware the deep traps!

Oaks Course, The
"GREAT"
The Oaks is a toughy. It all depends on your tee shot and the pin placement. The greens are the best around and the people who work there are all very nice and courteous.
