This well-maintained course was built in beautiful Kyle Canyon at the base of Mt Charleston. This course offers spectacular scenic views of the surrounding mountains and Cathedral Rock, and the weather is outstanding. The greens are average-sized, fast and very undulating, while the fairways are average width and hilly. Water hazards come into play on one hole, and dogleg fairways on two others. The signature hole is #5, a 470-yard, par 4, requiring a well-struck tee shot down a long fairway, then a well-placed approach shot over two lakes with waterfalls.

| This course was a haven while open. It was a well designed course but regretfully closed forever around 2000 or 2001. The property was purchased by the Div. of Forestry. |

| We have been up to Mt Charleston Hotel a couple of times to get ready for our wedding and every time we pass this place it is abandon, the walls to the club house are open and there isn't a single blade of grass for at least 35 miles around???? |
