This scenic course, which overlooks Puget Sound, features a low-lying front nine dotted by wetlands on every hole. It's not the prettiest playing field, but it calls for accurate shots on the occasional tight landing areas. The rolling back nine opens up considerably, and a number of holes offer dramatic views of the Sound. The second-shot angles on the par 5's are interesting. After the course was built, homeowners erected screens along holes #14, 15 and 18 to deflect wayward balls from the residences, which were built close to the holes. This course was selected by "Golf Digest" as the "Best New Public Course" for 1991, as the 2nd "Best Public Course" in the state in 1996, and 58th best out of "America's Top 75 Affordable Courses" from the list of "America's Best Golf Courses Everyone Can Play" for 1996.

Fantastic Course, Dec 17, 2007 |

| This course is truly amazing, with one of the best signature holes (#11) I have seen. It is extremely challenging. Without accuracy, you are destined to loose more golf balls then there are holes. |

| ... play it once... lose a dozen balls... spend a lot of cash... if that sounds appealing to you, then Harbor Pointe is the perfect place. While there are some spectacular views and the course is immaculately maintained, every shot is a challenge. There is no moment while playing the course where you can actually take a deep breath and enjoy it. That may be great for the low handicapper, but for everyone else, it makes for a long round. |

| My company spent an entire day golfing the course as a tournament. The views were incredible, the course challenging and well maintained. I give it a 10+! |
