This hilly course has many trees that can affect your shots, and Milk Creek runs throughout the course and comes into play on several holes. This is the only course west of the Mississippi that has a covered bridge. There is an additional set of men's tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Neat Little course, Aug 25, 2004

Ranch hills is a nice course if you have not planned ahead for your weekend. You can usually get on sat or sun without much trouble. The course is crossed several times by milk creek. And there are several elevation changes. The only thing aout this course I did not like was, the two holes where you must drive off a mat.

River Plantation Country Club - Augusta/Biloxi Course
"Challenging Layout"
Fun, challenging layout with recently reworked tees and greens. Course conditions a little spotty and a "mud-fest" if there's even a chance of rain. $25 weekday green fee is fair but $50 on weekends is a little out of line with other area courses. Some good money games on most days.

A very nice course! I haven't played many course's, but this is my favorite. It's a nice looking course, flows nicely, and it's different (woods to link style), plus it's in my home town. The rates are reasonable, but they (non-resident)may need to be lowered a bit to get people through the gates. For a course this nice, it should have a functioning club house (i.e., bar, resturant, function hall, etc.), get Titleist as sponsor.
