This course uses the honor system for payment of green fees. The course was built on hilly terrain and has large greens. The longest hole is #9, a 458-yard, par 5, requiring two straightaway shots to reach the green. Five holes feature dogleg fairways. Ladies tee off from the same tee as the men.

Great Course in a Great Loaction, Oct 25, 2004

Well kept fairways and greens. Free of water hazards except the first fairway when there has been a heavy rain or recent watering. No sand traps unless you�re in the rough which is natural Sandhills grass land. Wonderful Sandhills views with some overlooking the town about a mile east of the course. Seldom crowded which makes for a relaxing round of golf. 143 yard par 3 8th hole is my favorite. Uphill from tee to green with a panoramic view of the course and surrounding area, followed by the long par 5 9th. A great place to enjoy the Sandhills while avoiding the high cost of the fancy places. If your like ma and enjoy walking the course, but don�t want to carry your clubs, bring a pull cart because carts are not available.

"short but challenging"
while the course is very short..there are a few holes that require good ball placement or you will end up in the water..hole #2;#6;#11;#12 and #14.....good for the short game as well and for the price you can't beat it; however depending on when you go play can be sometimes very slow.

A tremendous couse in a beautiful mountain setting, especially in September and October when in full fall foliage, the afternoon temperatures in the low 70's and the skies so blue the horizon lines become razor sharp. The back nine challange you with mountain streams, blind doglegs, an occasional buck jumping from a creek bed and or lofty tee boxes daring you to choose a loftier iron for dropping it between the aspens and the traps.... Not too many courses in the world offer better views, thinner air for longer drives, or nicer people to pamper your needs. July through mid October is prime... take plenty of time and the closest of friends, I guarantee you a memorable experiance and a challanging round!
