This course is cut out of a forest, so trees are a definite factor on every hole. The slightly contoured greens average about 6,600 square feet in size, and are cut at a maximum height of 1/8 of an inch, enabling them to carry plenty of speed. There are also twenty-six lakes located throughout the course. Every hole presents its own unique challenge. Hole #7, a 580-yard, par 5, requires a tee shot over water onto a dogleg fairway that veers to the right and then to the left. There is no chance of clearing the trees on the dogleg fairway, so plan on reaching the green in four shots. For information on the golf school, contact the pro shop by calling, (843) 357-2090. Carts are mandatory on the course. The 6,297-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 76.7 and slope of 140.

Griffith Park Golf Courses - Wilson Course
"wonderful"
wonderful greens and fairways, every hole was definitely unique and fairly challenging. We were able to find an opening to play on the course on a busy day without making a reservation. Allowed us to bring a spectator, with a price of course. Played both courses and would definitely come back. The only set-back was...there wasn't a beverage cart in sight and the play was pretty slow, had to wait for other players. Overall experience was great and would recommend to others.

Eddy Farm Hotel & Resort - Par 3 Course
"gone but not forgotten"
The par 3 course is gone, totally gone. The main course: nice course; open fairways; no real water to worry about. Can help your golfing morale. BUT . . . now only open to guests, AND renamed The Eddy Farm Retreat and Conference Center (the name says it all).

Oak Lane Golf Course
"Short but Spicy"
This isn't the longest golf course in the world but the mature trees make shot making skills essential. The fairways have narrowed over the years and being able to hit it straight is essential. This is a great golf course for a casual round of low stress golf. Great for kids,good players, beginner players and wives. Heck, I met my wife there.
