| This is one of the old american style courses that on the surface seems benign until you take the route and discover the well placed traps, and mature trees that from the tee look beautiful then loom larger than a 10 story building just because you're 2 feet off the fairway.
The greens are smooth fast and hard making the normal wedge or short iron shot play like a 2 iron approach. Putting is dream like on these velvet surfaces, rolling true and making reading a little adventure. AFter a few times you can understand the nuances of where the breaks go to and where to aim to try to assure you won't 3 putt.
Play from the blues at 6300 yards is almost more challenging than the back tees because of the seemingly shorter approaches that that harder greens won't accept like your muni at home.
It's in great shape after a rennovation due to the clubhouse reconstruction where infrastructure was upgraded and a few improvements are being made to 1, 9, 10 and the practice range. Kudos to the grounds staff for a great job. |

| this was a great country club golf course! it was just renovated and it looks terrific!!!!!! the people are so friendly, the lady on the 18th hole gave me a glass of lemonade!!! it was perfect because i was sooo parched. o to the my god, it was breath taking, the suburban homes to the natives to the lovely evergreens that spruce up the place! during the winter its cold though, but its ok if you golf in a fur coat(faux, of course! PETA)
