Good Naples Golf, Mar 05, 2004

Excellent course. No parallel fairways and no buildings close to the fairways. Resent complete remake of the greens, new sand to the traps and a brand new watering system make this a top course in the Naples area. A sand underbase makes for excellent drainage and allows play without the usual "cart paths only" even after heavy rain. This also makes for good Floria summer play.The course is not hard, But offers good challenging play to all with five tee levels.

Marshallia Ranch Golf Course
"Marshallia Rocks"
This is one tough but, neat course. Carved out of the hills surrounding Vandenberg AFB, the layout is challenging and scenic. Play in the fall and winter for the best weather, because spring and summer can be very cool and windy. Each hole rewards a decent shot, but plucks out your heart if your shot runs errant. Ice plant gives a new meaning to the word, rough. Here's a putting tip, 90% of the putts break toward the high hills to the south, though you will swear it can't be. The course is usually in terrific condition and the Clubhouse very accomodating. Green fees, equipment and food are more than reasonable when compared to nearby courses. This is one gem all golfers must experience.

Golf Club at Cimarron Trails, The
"My review"
Cimarron Trails is one of the most challenging and exciting courses I have played in my lifetime of golfing. I would recommend this course to any serious and/or just weekend golfers. The first minte entering the spetacular and spacious clubhouse you get a feeling of something special happening. It smells like golf and it is golf incarnate. If you do one thing in your life as a golfer it should be to play at least one round at Cimarron Trails. Regards, Hugh

a very green and tree filled course....in great shape...fun to play....not too hard, but challenging nonetheless....beautiful views of clubhouse on 9th and 18th....a bit short, but if played from the back tees is long enough for most big hitters
