Nice Course, Aug 14, 2004

This is a very flat course, and being from Western PA, it was a change! I think you can see your tee shot land on every hole. Unless you hit it into the adjacent corn fields! There are some sand bunkers and water hazards in the form of ponds and streams. I'm not a good golfer, but I did enjoy the course. Greens are large, yardage is decent. Clubhouse is small, but they serve your typical hot dogs/hamburgers. They have pavilions for groups. It would be an easy course to walk as it's mostly level.

"Good for its purpose"
Don't expect great things.. but if you just want to get in a quick 9 holes of knocking the ball around, this is cheap, convenient and fun. My girlfriend and I played on Sunday for $20 total.

if you have ever golfed in this area you relize that there are 2 types of courses. private corses which are nice but... private and then courses that are a bit run down. well cross creek is the exception it may be young(few trees still coming up) but its lots of fun and well maintained with a good staff and a great time for new or more seasend golfers alike

Querbes Park Golf Course
"Fun course... worth playing at least once"
It's a decent course. For the price, it's very good. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars. $14 is cheap for 18 holes of golf. Many of the greens are strangely small. Too small in some cases. Although, since many holes are very short, the small greens make them harder, which is good. No real bunkers. There are some strange dug up pits with sand in them, but they look like an afterthought. I wish they did the bunkers correctly, or just completely left them out. There are a few very fun holes on back-9. I recommend playing the course at least once. I did play the course during winter so the greens weren't too great, but it's understandale in February. I will definately play there more in the spring when conditions will be better. Especially being a college student, I'm all for the price.
