This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. However, the Middle and South courses are generally combined for public play, and the North Course is generally played as a separate nine hole course. Only when tournaments are being played will the club allow this combination to be reconfigured. The fairways are tree lined, and the greens are large and fast. The terrain is flat and very walkable, with no water coming into play anywhere on the course. This course is one of seven municipal courses in the local area.

Emerald Lakes Golf Center
"The nicest 9 hole around"
Emerald Lakes is a fun little course that provides the basic golf experiance to the younger golfers in the Elk Grove area. The course has many hazards, including hole 5 which is as good as an island hole as you could get at any 9 hole course. The Course tends to be real hard in the summer and extremely wet during the winter. Give the grass at least 3 or 4 days to soak up water after a hard rain or you'll be chipping out of the mud on most holes. Overall, the course provides just enough amusement to keep the low end golfers happy, while aslo providing a great practice facility including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green. The bottom line, this is the best 9 hole course in the Elk Grove Area.

Nice layout with beautiful trees and, save a few holes, away from it all. Challenging drive course, approaches are easier. Nice size greens.

"Great Course"
This is one of the funnest courses that I have ever played. The open layout and scenic views made it a spectacular experience. The work crew and the people there are the greatest. With a work crew of only 5, the course is in fabulous shape and is comparable to some of the best. The fairways are in imaculate condition.
