This very scenic course is very hilly, so riding carts are mandatory. The fairways are tree lined, and the greens are average in size and speed. Water hazards come into play on a few holes. On some holes there are dual paths to the greens. The "play it safe" route and the "go for it" route. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 2nd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and the 10th "Best in State" course for 1995-96. The Senior PGA Tour's Bell South Senior Classic at Opryland was held here in 1994. Senior discounts are only available Monday through Friday.
