I have played this course of and on for the last 10 years. The condition of the course varies from time to time but the layout is very good. There is a lot of water and the wind kicks up too. The staff is friendly and that means a lot to me when I go to any course.

Great course! While being somewhat eqidistant from Houston and the Bryan-College Station vicinity, this course offers a lot of challenge with its water, potential for wind, and with its constant changes in elevation. The large greens can be particularly tricky if they are cut low and if the pin placements are set on an incline! For the dollar, it's absolutely one of the best golf values around! To play Bluebonnet is definitely worth the trip to get there!

Just not much bang for the buck. I've played here off and on over the years (do like the lay out)and the golf course is still not in good shape, irrespective of what new management wants you to believe. New carts do not make a golf course. Several poor greens including the practice green(no grass) and can someone please get the rocks and clumps of grass out of the bunkers. Bunkers on 15 were the worst of the lot. Anybody heard of Roundup? Had a buy one get one free coupon and it was still $50 for my son and I. If the cost would have been closer to $30 for both of us I would not be so hard on these folks. It will be a while before we go back.
