This course is highlighted by its exhilarating hill country. The layout appeals to all golfers with a particular interest to the golfing purist. The course features a wealth of elevated greens with two miles of creek twisting over the course. The fairways are tree lined, but generous. Dramatic views abound on this course, which plays up against the Guadalupe River. The signature hole is #18, a 552-yard, par 5, which plays from an elevated tee and features an abundance of water.

Wants to be the toughest course in Texas... close to it... walkable if you have a sherpa for a caddie. greens are awesome. very true but slicker than the hood on Grampa's '47 Hudson. this course is worth the drive from anywhere you are staying in the Hill country. the price is excellent, the staff friendly. and several holes will reduce you to tears, only to let you get away with a shot or two to keep you coming back.

For the money, this is the best course in the hill country. Wonderlful elevation changes on every hole, many tee boxes to choose from, fairways-greens-bunckers are always in great condidtion. There are no two holes on this course that even remotely resemble each other, each offering a new look and requiring a new shot. If you are in the area and want to play an elite course for a decent price, stop by the bandit and enjoy.

Antelope Valley CC golf course is a fun and challenging experience. Wind makes the course play tough in the afternoon. It is realitively flat and provides the abilility to walk with little difficulty. Many challenging holes, several with water, and views of the local desert and Joshua Trees are great. The amenities of the club are first rate. New clubhouse, staff that is freindly and attentive, and quality food and beverages all help to make a great golfing experience.

"Oak Hills - fun place to golf"
The first hole is great, requiring a 90 degree second shot or a long high over the forest first shot. The second hole has a challenge too - up hill and over a gully. The whole course is interesting and a relatively easy play for golfers good and bad. I'm going back!

Hawktree Golf Course
"Mid-80's golfer"
Hawktree is an extremely beautiful and challenging course. By having four seperate tee box choices, the course is designed for the best golfers right down to the average golfers. Course management is an absolute must. "Risk-Reward" is an understatement. You can find yourself adding several strokes if you get "too gutsy." The design of the course offers beautiful views with challenging holes. It is a little spendy, but you WILL get your money's worth. I recommend it to everybody who swings a stick.
