This course has wide fairways. The wind is a major factor most of the time, so selecting the proper club becomes an important part of the game. Water hazards come into play on six holes. Tee times are only reserved for the weekends. The signature hole is #11, a 242-yard, par 3, requiring a lengthy uphill tee shot which makes the hole play longer than the yardage indicates.

one of our favorites, Jul 15, 2007

this place is usually immaculate, uncrowded and without a lot of HACKERS!Excellent greens & layout, for 22.00 after 2pm-youd be hard pressed to find a better course. I live 5 mins. from Fuzzy Zoellers Covered Bridge course-its 75.00 to play, its nice, but even if they were the same rate, id still rather play at Henry co.

getting better every year, Mar 06, 2004
reviewer: Rob Gault from Turners Station, KY USA
This course gets better every year. Management has purchased some newer maintenance equipment in the last few years and the greenskeeping crew is fabulous. They added fairway sprinkler systems a few years ago and also paved cart paths throughout the course. As for the par five holes, only the first is a real challenge. The last three are definite birdie opportunities. The par threes are the opposite. Only hole 14 is a short par 3, two of the others are all carry 230+ and the last is nearly 200 yards with two bunkers that are ball magnets. Probably the best value I have seen in golf!
