This is a hilly course with tree-lined fairways. There are three ponds that come into play. Some of the greens are elevated. The signature hole is #10, a 485-yard, par 5, with a double dogleg fairway and requiring a shot over water.

This course is in pretty good shape for a public course. The greens are not burned and the fairways are in really good shape for the drought in the area. Working staff are friendly and helpful. Many interesting holes, so it isn't boring!
