The signature hole is #5, a 540-yard, par 5, featuring water on the left of the fairway about 150 yards from the green. This course was built on a former Indian burial ground.

Course is a hidden gem, rates are great and fun to play the golf pro was very helpful. GPS on the carts helped a lot and the food was good. Seems longer than it is....

Best Golfing Value on Chicago's Southside, Jul 28, 2004

Won the "Finest Golf Course" award by the Chicago Daily Southtown last year. Superbly conditioned, fast greens, and all you can handle from the 6,700+ back tees. Cost me $39 including cart on a Tuesday. What a deal! Play it once and you go back. I will.

For the money, this is a challaging and well condition course. It is well maintained and can get tough if you use the back tees.

Oakdale Country Club
"Wow........"
I have a membership at Oakdale and let me tell you, it's worth it. The courses rolling hills and steep inclines make it a tough challenge. The bunkers and the water hazards are also huge barriers to overcome on this course. You can't beat the price either. My membership paid for itself in a matter of weeks and after that I was practically playing for free. I strongly advise anyone that wants an enjoyable round of golf to check out Oakdale Country Club.

A challenge to any golfer. Play it from the back tees and it is all you can handle. Seems like your hitting the ball uphill all day long. A true test of your golfing ability! A well maintained golf course with quick greens.

Foxwood Country Club

I found Foxwood to be a course that could use some improvements. However, I did enjoy playing this course and the layout. The employees were true pros. The course is shaded with many trees which allows you to hone your placement skills. This course surely is a diamond in the rough.

"L.A Bargain"
For a 3-Par, greens and fairways are well maintained despite the quantity of play. Surprising number of amenties such as; large putting green, practice sand and chipping areas. Great driving range adjacent to a full restaurant and bar. Friendly with no local attitude.
