The opening holes on this course were designed to resemble a links-style course. The back nine is pretty tight, so shot accuracy is a must. There are six lakes that come into play on six holes. The greens are sloped and fast.

Difficult But Very Enjoyable, Jun 08, 2007

The condition of the course was very good. Very few open holes. I think I only hit driver four or five times, but if you find the fairway, it's very playable and a lot of fun. Greens are sloped, slick, and in great shape. The staff is very friendly and hospitable.

This course was a plesant surprise. The drive from Ballwin out was a little long but the course was definately worth the trip out. There is a huge lake that centrals the golf course and comes into play on several holes. People at New Melle are absoultely wonderful. We had a great time.

Well maintained course offering something for each level of golfer. Front nine is open and progressively gets harder. Back nine is almost a sharp shooter course with several hazards in play
