This facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses. These courses have a newly-designed clubhouse and pro shop. The Cardinal Course has tree-lined fairways and fast, undulating greens. There are water hazards that come into play on eight holes. The Deer Run Championship Course has open fairways and well-bunkered greens. There are water hazards that come into play on seven holes. Weekend tee times are reserved on Thursdays.

The "Championship" course of Deer Run is one of the best deals in the area. My city fathers here in Va.Beach should stand up and take notice. A decent course, some hills, some water and some distance is challenging for my weekend partners. If I remember the price was around $28 - 30 and that was with a cart. (it would be 15 to 20 more to play in VaBeach and the course wouldn't be as nice.
