This hilly course is difficult because of its narrow, tree-lined fairways. There is water coming into play on five holes, and the greens are medium in size and speed.

Not bad depending on your needs, Nov 17, 2010
reviewer: Brian from Broomall
If you're one of those guys who takes longer than tiger woods to line up your putts, than you won't like this place. However, if you are realistic, this is a great place to work on your game. There are plenty of other places around if you like spotless pro shops staffed with stuffy country club wannabees. I've read the other reviews and to be honest, I don't care if the employees there work hard or not. They're friendly enough to me. If you don't take your game too seriously, this place isn't that bad.

This was my first time playing golf, and I thought this course was fine. A good practice course. I'd go again.

This place is a disgrace, May 22, 2010
reviewer: Joe Smith from Media, PA USA
This place should not charge people to play on their course. Some people say the prices are cheap, but honestly once you play the course it is still a rip off. The prices should be even cheaper than what they are. They put no effort into maintaining this course. If they actually put the time and effort into the course it could be decent but they don't. As far as the staff being nice, why wouldn't they be nice they sit there all day and do nothing. It is not like they are hard at work or have any work at all to even do. If people are actually willing to pay money to play at this place, I am more than willing to let them play in my backyard for free instead. If I dig a hole in the yard and stick a flag in it that would be better conditions than this terrible place. Do not waste your time or money here. It is pathetic and I bet that these so called nice staff laughs every time a sucker comes in and actually pays them money for this because they no this place is pathetic.

You'd never know it was there, Feb 13, 2009
reviewer: Boots Raymond from Chadds Ford, PA
Super narrow fairways and some real short holes. Course was built on a gnarly piece of ground thats really too small for a golf course and its hard to walk at times because of the hilly terrain. Its also not kept up real well. It almost looks like its been closed for a year or two. Fairways too narrow for 1st timers and course is too short for good golfers. A friend of mine got hit with a ball here because the fairways are so tight together. Nice people though, and cheap. I'd go just to hang out. Club house has sort of an "Elks Lodge" atmosphere.

Nice Surprise, Sep 08, 2007
reviewer: Mike Choroneko from Upper Darby, PA
I read and herd that this course was sub par but went with a friend and enjoyed it very much. The greens were like a carpet and fairways were fine. Great value for the money with a good challenge here and there. Course forces you to hit straight with a gentle touch. Bring a few extra balls if you slice! As the previous reviewer indicates, a good workout with the irons. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and thought the course was great for the cost. Yes, there are better courses out there; but at a much higher cost.

Swamp, Apr 24, 2007
reviewer: John Evans from Broomall, PA
I hit a straight fairway shot on the 5th. I still landed in a swamp. The course is always in bad shape. The staff is great and it is cheap. Still, I thing Clayton Park is a much better course for a beginner like me for less money.

Uggghhh...., Aug 06, 2005

Yeah, the staff and atmosphere are family-oriented but the course downright stinks. The fairways and greens were in poor shape, I think the abandoned Pennsauken Mart parking lot has better putting conditions.

Cow Pasture, Apr 11, 2005
reviewer: Mike O'Neill from West Chester, PA
If you just want to throw your $18 away, you'd be better off playing in a cow pasture. Course is a hacker's dream - beat up fairways, horrible greens.
