This is not a difficult course. It is usually a favorite for beginners because there are only a few trees and hills. Water comes into play on eight holes. The greens are medium-sized and fast. The fairways are open and feature a well-defined cut of rough.

| I had visited Lone oak just the other day. The members are the most annoying people on any golf course. They are extremely rude. They have no golf standards. The course is in great shape. Too bad the members set an example for the whole golf course |

Great Greens. Long Par Fives, Apr 05, 2004 |

| Visiting KY from Las Vegas in 03/04. Fairway, rough and greens in GREAT shape. Traps still need work after hard winter. Par 5s all play LONG with two carrying over water. A real challenging Par 3 (17th) plays 200yds-all carry. Nice course for a very reasonable price. |
