This hilly course features small greens and many trees over 100 years old. Water hazards come into play on about three holes. This course was designed by the 1896 U.S. Open champion. The original clubhouse was opened in 1901. Additionally, this course hosted the only Olympic golf tournament in history during the 1904 Games.

This course is truely one of the best kept secrets in St. Louis. The pro & his staff could not possibly be more accommodating. The course is a constant challenge & truely offers a golfer everything you would want in a course. If you live in St. Louis it seems that this would be a wonderful value.

First course I played since getting into golf, played 11 times. Lots of hazards and had fun playing. Would still be there except 60 par can't help building my handycap. A little costly for a exec course and for a new golfer, for the same or less you can play full 72.

Tannehill National Golf Course
"4 stars"
Tannehill National has got to be one of the best courses in the state. The fairways this past summer looked better than a lot of greens I've seen. From the back tees the course is near perfect. It is pretty much wide open but, there is a creek that comes into play on several holes and the strategically placed ponds can make you pay for a bad tee shot. The greens are fast but they hold shots and roll true .You just can't find bermuda greens that stay as consistent as theirs do.

"Martinuque Homes"
This course is probably one of the nicest ones I've ever played! - I MEAN IT!!! The greens were very well kept, the clubhouse was delightful, and my wife loved your fairways! I played here, once,-back in the 60's, but it was quite different then. (To be honest it looks allot smaller, and I don't remember there being any Homes so near the course?) We WILL be back, this summer!
