This facility has an eighteen hole par 3 course and a nine hole "pitch and putt" course. The Par 3 Course has a few water hazards and well-established trees that can alter your shots. The "pitch and putt" course is good for working on your short game. If you only wish to play nine holes on the Par 3 Course you still must pay the eighteen hole green fee. Neither of the scorecards show handicaps for individual holes.

Fun with the Grandchildren, Jul 08, 2009

This is a great family location with a chip and putt as well as a nice par 3. I take my grandchildren who range from 5-10 here several times per year for miniture golf and the chip and putt and it is the most fun we could have short of Disney. The five kids are so excited to play both courses We are so disappointed that it is closing.

I go here with my 5 year old son and we both have fun. I work on my wedge game and he uses his full set of little clubs. This pitch and putt course is in better shape than some "real" public courses. Woods's is first rate.

"A true hidden jewel"
If you ever get a chance to play this course then do it. It's longer than you think it is and it is a very tough course. The course is kept in excellent shape and the weekday cost to play is very reasonable. The membership cost is also very reasonable for someone who is looking for a moderately priced country club.

Wonderfull! - Grew up there, right next door - on Merrivale drive. (6, Merrivale drive to be exact!) - used to play army there! ( when I was a young soldier, - back in the '60s.) Well, I don't know about golf, but living next door to that BEAUTIFUL golfcourse was a memory I'll cherish forever!

"a weekend player"
I have been playing this course for 20 years and the course is so improved and impeccable the last time I played which was last August, full irragation and watering systems that have been in full use for about 5 years now have greatly improved the play also paved cart paths and new and completely changed layouts are a real challenge. I and my friends always enjoy a day at the Raceway, it ends with a great meal in the Raceway Restaurant with abundant plates for your dollar and great food choices. Priced right, can't beat it.
