Cherry Hill has become a very nice public golf course. Since the sprinkler system was installed, it has become a great course. The course is challenging. The view of surrounding countryside is outstanding. The members are very friendly. Green fees are a only 15-18$. I would highly recommend giving this new find a try!

Mill Creek Golf Club
"Living and Playing Mill Creek"
I chose to live in the Mill Creek Community after playing Mill Creek Golf Course. The course is long enough to challenge the low handicapper while allowing the average golfer to handily compete. While each hole presents its unique challenge, holes 7, 9, and 15 can be particularly formidable. Hole 7 is a reasonably short par 4, just 326 yards from the white tees and 400 yards from the championship tees, but take the ball out of the fairway -- kiss it good bye. Hole 9 (359 yards from the white tees and 439 from the championship tees) commands distance and accuracy from the tee if one expects to reach the green in two. A bed of rocks to the left of the fairway, woods to the right, and a ravine paralleling its length on the left with a wide ditch crossing the fairway about 50 yards from the green, simply command excellent club selection. Hole 15 and be a pussy cat or a bear. Wind in your face requires a long wood. Wind with you, and a five iron may place your ball in a 50 yard water and grass hazzard which crosses the fairway about 100 yards from the green. The entire course undulates and winds through just over 7000 yards from the championship tees. The fairways allow the ball to be played down while the bent greens firmness can cause many putter miscalulations. All in all, this is a great course -- especially at fees ranging from $39 - $59, cart included.

"HomeTown corse"
The corse is not hard at all but a fun getaway for a sunny afternoon when you have nothin else to do besides play the best sport on earth, and wanna kick back a relax on our nice moderate speed golf carts. Its fun and has a few challenging holes so give it a try. Got to give it three stars cuz its my home course.

"what can you ask for in fifty lakes"
this course is not well managed, greens are often brown and the grass is dead. the position next to the forest gives dear flies opportunities to feast, and the carts are mediocre at best.

Belgrade Lakes Golf Club
"Number 1 in the state of Maine"
This relatively new (circa 1998) central Maine hilltop course is majestically located in the rolling hills surrounding the Belgrade Lakes. Panoramic views surround you from atop hilltop tees. The course is gorgeously maintained and very playable for the average golfer. It has arguably replaced Sugarloaf as the nicest course in Maine - although Sugarloaf is a tougher challenge and nearly as majestic.
