The course offers five sets of tees, wide corridors, hybrid Bermuda roughs and fairways, Crenshaw bentgrass greens and concrete cart paths. It has an advanced irrigation system, hand cut stacked stone bridges, retaining walls and steps, heavy tree cover, four lakes, and three streams, and 83 well placed bunkers. The 15th hole is the last of the four par 3’s on the golf course. The hole plays from 126 to 203 yards, and golfers must carry most of the distance over the lake, which is short and left of the green. Players will make their way across a stacked stone bridge, which connects the stacked stone wall bordering the lake. Once across the water, golfers must avoid three sand bunkers, two grass bunkers, and several Carolina Pines which frame a large and challenging green. The 16th hole is a reachable par 5, which presents a classic risk/reward situation. An aggressive play down the left side sets up an opportunity for an eagle putt if the player successfully carries the lake and avoids the fairway bunker. Another fairway bunker and a large greenside bunker will penalize aggressive but unsuccessful attempts to reach this green in two.

Great Coarse, Apr 14, 2004 |

| This is probably the best public coarse in the area. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Augusta, GA. In an area that is known for it's golf this is a welcomed addition. The long demanding coarse is as beautiful as it is challenging. |

| Mt. Vintage is the current home of an LPGa tournament. It is mountain like in appearance with a number of scenic holes on both nines. Bent greens are fast but fair, the clubhouse is a restored old farmhouse with new additions. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Special attention to holes 3,6 and 9 on the front and the signature area of holes 14,15,16 on the back. An enjoyable experience. |

| Golfed this course on the Saturday of the Masters 2003. It is great. Course is spread out and you can't see other holes from the hole you are playing most of the time. Best course I have ever played. Golf with others who had been to other great courses and they said it was definately in the top 5 they had ever played. |
