This course can be demanding because water hazards come into play on thirteen holes and the wind is always a factor. The terrain is typically flat. From the years 1972 to 1975, the LPGA held a tournament here. You may only walk the course after 2 PM.

What a nice course., Oct 16, 2004 |

| Lochmoor is the ultimate in Risk/Reward play. Some of the par 5's may be reachable in two if you can pull it off but otherwise there's the Devil to pay. It has a nice mixture of monster par 4's with shorter hard dog-leg ones. Attack the par 3's if you can but these greens, quite large, have a lot of movement with subtile breaks. You MUST hit the ball where you aim it. You will enjoy this layout |

| Not a bad course, but overpriced for what you get. A nice quiet community but the price is similar to other great courses in the SWFL that are much nicer and taken care of. Not bad if you like to get out and try every course. |
