This course was built on rolling terrain, so expect many uneven lies. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on four holes, and fifteen greens are well bunkered. Weekend tee times are reserved the Thursday before.

A Good Beginner Course, Jun 03, 2006 |

| This is a course that is decent shape. In general, it is a solid golfing experience for the beginner with wide fairways, flat greens, and not too many difficult hazards. Moreover, the woods are sparse, and even the most errant shots can be played out with a punch. Both the front nine and back nine offer a good amount of variety in terms of length and terrain. I personally prefer the front nine. Most enjoyable hole is the 9th, a par 3 where you hit over a pond and onto a hill. |

| Hillview Golf Course is a nice place to play golf. If you are just an intermediate pace golfer, like myself, it offers many challenges and will improve your gave. Hillview is also a nice place for advance golfers, such as my brother, because it will cause you to thing about your game and make good swings. Hillview can be a good challenge from the back tees and has a decent lay out to it. |

| This course has 18 holes that are all unlike each other. The course continually renovates one hole per year. There are some challenging par 5's, especially hole number 8. The fairways range from very narrow to very wide. The greens are in decent shape and run moderately. |
