This Scottish-type links course is part of the National Sea Shore Parks. Established in 1895, it was name to "GOLF Magazine's" 1995 list of the "First 100 Clubs in America." You can see the ocean from every hole. The fairways are wide, and the greens are large. This is one of the Cape's great nine hole courses. The course was built on top of a high bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

An average difficulty however the tall beach grass, and tiered greens create a challenging golf atmosphere for most golfers; to enjoy then they see the views of the Atlantic from every hole. It will become one of the most unique 9 holes ever played and one to tell stories about.

A nice simple course with a breath-taking view.Best if played early (you can start as early as 5am).. tee times start at 7am... staff is extremely friendly... well-maintained but restricted to policies of National Seashore.Very reasonable greens fees.

Alistaire Cook called Highland Links the one true links golf experience in the United States. At the links, it's golf among the dunes as god intended it. Your first thought will be, "This doesn't look like much," but, by the 18th hole, you'll be scratching your head wondering how you posted such a dismal score. Watch out if the wind's blowing. This course is for golf purists only. Macho Tiger types will hate it.

Great little course, if you like to play in the wind. Weather condition offset the short yardage. Website reports large greens here. Actually I found the greens to be very small.
