This challenging course is hilly and windy. The fairways are open, and the small greens are on the slow side. This is a very picturesque course with panoramic views on most holes of Long Island Sound and the Connecticut Waterways. Stephen Kay redesigned three holes in 1986. The green fees shown are for non-residents. Residents pay a discounted green fee.

there have been extensive changes at crab meadow! all new bunkers and tee boxes throughout the 18 holes! A new company has taken over Crab Meadow and are doing a wonderful job. One of the best public courses on the north shore.

Blue Lakes Country Club
"Unreal"
Blue Lakes C.C. is one of the best courses I have played, and I have been all over the country. Deep in the Snake River Canyon, there is not one shot that isnt breath taking. Rob Ellis, has done a great job with his staff, and golf course. If anyone gets the opportunity to play this magnificant course, do not pass it up. I would pay 2ce or 3 times as much to play this course again.

Spring Valley Country Club
"Challenging course"
Spring Valley is an older club that recently upgraded the course layout. They changed 3 or 4 holes in the last few years. The course has no housing development on it and includes several holes that require specific tee shot placement. A good deal of wooded area surrounds the course and water does come into play on several holes. The clubhouse is typical country club and I suggest the prime rib. Outstanding.

Great course if your looking for something really different in Florida. With the exception of the Clermont area of Florida you won't find a course more reminiscent of golfing in the Carolina hills.Green fees are very reasonable and you won't be disappointed with the condition.
