This executive course has wide, well-manicured fairways. The large greens are extremely fast and easy to three putt. This course plays longer than the yardage indicates. Junior discount rates (children fifteen and under) are available throughout the entire year. In addition, twilight rates begin on weekdays at 7 PM and on weekends at 4 PM and 7 PM. There are no slope or course ratings for either of the tees shown; ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

"New Name for La Vista Golf Course"
The new name for La Vista Golf Course in Wichita Falls, Texas is HAWK RIDGE GOLF COURSE. This course has undergone extensive improvements the last year and one half. The improvements made have made this into one of the best courses in this area. While I rated it as 3 stars, it could very well be on its way to being rated much higher. Van Cortlandt Park Golf Course
"Nice practice course, terribly crowded"
This golf course offers 18 holes, some of which are 'interesting', but most are far from challenging. It will offer you the opportunity to practice and the course is conveniently located for Manhattanites (take the 1 train to the Bronx). The course will take at least 5 hours to complete, although I usually end up near 6 hours. To many people and the resulting wait time are to be blamed for that, at least in the weekends (I never played during the week).
