This par 3 eighteen hole course was built on flat terrain and has tree-lined fairways. Some if the fairways are doglegs, and almost all of the greens are elevated and well bunkered. There are two ponds that come into play on two holes. In addition, a small creek called Lost Brook comes into play on a couple of holes.

After being away from golf for about 15 years, it was a very enjoyable (golf enjoyable?) way to get back into the game. The course is well maintained and very pleasant to walk. The longer holes allowed for a range of clubs to be used (3 wood the max.). Excellent course for us older folks who aren't hitting them as long as we used to. The course does require the discipline that comes with age (and maturity) as the holes are narrow with a number of well-place sandtraps and water.

This is a moderately challenging par-3 course, so you can work on everything but long fairway shots. Fairways are mostly level but narrow enough to challenge. A cooperative and kind staff keep play moving without embarrasing players like myself and my 8-yr old son.

This is a great place to get your game back. Holes are short but challenging enough to give you a full range of shots. Instead of being frustrated (and pressured) on a long course, play a few rounds here first and have fun getting back in the groove.

A tremendous couse in a beautiful mountain setting, especially in September and October when in full fall foliage, the afternoon temperatures in the low 70's and the skies so blue the horizon lines become razor sharp. The back nine challange you with mountain streams, blind doglegs, an occasional buck jumping from a creek bed and or lofty tee boxes daring you to choose a loftier iron for dropping it between the aspens and the traps.... Not too many courses in the world offer better views, thinner air for longer drives, or nicer people to pamper your needs. July through mid October is prime... take plenty of time and the closest of friends, I guarantee you a memorable experiance and a challanging round!

"My first course"
I grew up playing MCC. The main criticism of the track has always been that you never get a flat lie, which is often enough true, but a weak criticism nonetheless. When typically fast the greens are challenging (hint: everything breaks toward the ocean); on #13, if you don't keep it below the hole, any putt you don't sink will wind up all the way at the bottom. The course favors a longer driver, and offers plenty of challenge and opportunity for creativity. And you can't beat the view of the Pacific.
