This facility offers a regulation eighteen hole course and a par 3 nine hole course. Both courses have fairways that are open and greens that are medium in size and speed. The terrain is hilly and water does not come into play on either course. Hole #18, a 677-yard, par 6, drops from an elevated tee to a small green. Robert Muir Graves redesigned the Regulation Course in 1989.

Great views/not so great greens, Jan 28, 2004

This is a great little par 3 course with some awesome views of the bay at an elevated tee (4th hole) The greens are covered with clover and are very fast. This is the best par 3 course I've played (only played a few) especially costing only $8.

Deer Lake Golf Course
"The New Management has made Deer Lake GREAT"
I've been a golfer for alomost 20 years now (in North East Ohio) and it always delights me to find a course like Deer Lake. This course changed management about 3 years ago and there have been MAJOR improvements. The fairways have a much more professional feel to them and the greens are now firm and entertaining. This course has come a long, long way in the last couple of years and the new management should be congradulated. Not only that but greens fees are the lowest that I've found in the area. When you go in ask Carlo, the owner, for some of his special chili.

"I love this course"
I am an avid golfer, and having seen this course, I am convinced that the small, desolate town of Princeton has more to offer than what it seems. I highly recommend this course: the pro is very helpful and friendly, the employees are wonderful and the course itself is just extravagent. Challenging, yet relaxing at the same time is something that not easily done. Although Princeton does this, and manages it with style.
