This immaculate course features fairways that are lined with trees, and small, undulating greens. Locals say this course is not too difficult. The signature hole is #7, a 325-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over water. The terrain is hilly and can be strenuous to walk. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 3rd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. Geoffrey Cornish and Bill Robinson designed the back nine, which was added in 1966.

Hello, I am a 62 year old man and i attend the coutry club every year with my boyfriend Timmy. I live on a park bench right outside the course so it is in walking distance to me. I do not have enough money for a membership so i sneak in and play. This golf course is the best one I have ever played at and it is also the only one.

I am 16 years old and from Fairfield MAine. Last summer was my first year of being a member at the waterville country club. I played about 127 rounds there and i found that it was my favorite golf couse to play at not because i belonged there . It has a great layout and the greens are very fast. Last to say is that it is ran by great staff' DOn roberts and J durfee. WOnderful course. see you in the spring

Riverside Country Club
"Nice Course tough lies"
When you play this course be prepared to have a hilly lie on most fairway shots, especially on the back nine. The undulation is remarkable and this course gives an average player a run for his/her money. Mid summer the greens can be unforgiving, but still playable with corect club selection. Altogether a course well manicured and the added bonus of having a complete opposite feeling when playing the front nine and the second nine.

"Good Starter Course"
For an inexpensive, well maintained course to play while you are learning the basics of golf, this course is the one to play on. No par 5's. The course has good water, and easy par 3's that are helpful when you feel the pressure of the group behind you when your beginning. For the price, the location in Fountain Valley's Mile Square Park is beautiful, and I've never felt that a person starting off in the sport would feel embarrassed to make a mistake at this course.

"Scenic and challenging"
This is a beautiful and well designed course. The course can prove to be challenging for both the beginner and scratch golfer alike. The high grass that seperates some of the holes can be frustrating, so you would be well advised to keep to the left on such holes. During the fall the greens are usually riddled with leaves and twigs so spring and summer would be your best bet. The developer did an excellent job incorporating the natural surroundings into the course. With a tee off the top of a ridge on hole one, to the natural rocks that appear throughout the course, Greystone Golf Club in Dickson is sure to give you the feeling of connecting with nature as you connect with your ball.
