| I've never had a bad experience at Lost Creek, save for the drive to get there as it is in a very rural location. The course is always in great condition and very well maintained, except for a few low points in the course where water likes to collect on the fairways after rain (holes two and three and sometimes seven and eight). For the money, I would say it is the best course in central PA. The clubhouse isn't much to talk about, but the pro shop is adequate and their are always plenty of carts available. Not much else to say. It's long enough, it's in good condition, and can be a very challeging course. My personal favorite part of the course is its par 3 holes. The only par 3 hole that could be considered "easy" is hole 9, only because it is a short iron shot. However it is surrounded by sand bunker to the left, a large pond that runs the distance from the tee box to the green, and deep rough on a small but steep hill to the right. If you're visiting Central PA, this is a must visit golf course. Make sure you get a tee time if you plan to play there, as it can get very busy, especially on the weekend. |

| I always try to play Lost Creek a couple of times a year. As it is south of State College their season is longer so it is a good early spring pick. Excelent course for the money and a good test of golf. |
