This nine hole par 3 course is a surprising challenge. The greens are hilly, sloped and ample in size, averaging approximately 6,000-square-feet. There is a mixture of open and tree-lined fairways. Those that are tree lined feature mature oak, poplar and locust trees. The signature hole is #8, a 135-yard, par 3, which requires a tee shot over a water hazard onto a small, bunkered green. To add further challenge, the prevailing wind blows directly into the face of the golfers as they tee off.

| This is a great par 3 course. There's a driving range with grass tees open for part of every day (as well as mats, of course), as well as a free short game area - chipping green, greenside practice bunker, and a putting green. The driving range even has a fairway bunker to practice out of. The course itself offers a surprising amount of variety for an all-par-3 course. I personally liked having the rough thick, because it really makes this more of a "real" golf course that just happens to be made up of only par 3 holes. There are two carries over water, but neither one absolutely necessary (bailout areas are available). Oh, and you get a big break on $$ for going through a second time. Highly recommended! |

| Oak Marr is very well kept and is a refreshing challenge. The distance at #2 is very deceiving leaving most people scratching their heads; #5 and #6 will punish the un-straight to no end; and #8 is like island hopping. My only complaint about this course is the height of the rough. The rough is so deep on #5 and #6 that you're almost forced to lay up in the fairway rather than shoot for the green. |
