This course was built on rolling terrain. The highest point in Marion County is located on the #4 tee box, approximately 500 feet above sea level. The fairways vary in width and many of them are tree lined. All the greens and tees are elevated, and the small greens are undulating. Reciprocal play is welcome here, but your head pro needs to contact this club's head pro in order to make arrangements.

More rolling terrain than most courses in this area. A nice layout that keeps one's interest throughout the round. I feel that the course could have been in a little better shape for the green fees that the ask.

Cape May National Golf Club
"An interesting course"
Cape May Nat'l is designed to take advantage of and highlight its natural setting. The par-3 3rd offers tees on both sides of the green allowing a choice between a 185 yd hole over water or a 110 yarder where the water is not a factor. The par-5 4th starts with a 175 yard carry over marsh and the par-4 5th is all sand for the first 150+ yds. The 11th and the 18th are my two favorites. Almost every hole is interesting in its own way and a challenge for any golfer. At the same time, the average golfer should not be intimidated and have an enjoyable round. Generally well maintained, the condition depends heavily on the weather. In good weather, the course is beautiful.
