Located in Ocala, this course is unique to scenic Florida in its abundance of rolling hills and large pine and oak trees that surround the course. The front nine is heavily tree-lined, with the back nine featuring a links-like openness. The course is well-maintained year-round, has excellent drainage, and is "female player friendly." The greens, not highly undulating, offer excellent putting surfaces. Water comes into play on holes #17 and #18. The signature hole is #18, a 414-yard, par 4, which is highlighted by two large trees fronting the green. With its expansive rolling hills and stunning tree-lined backdrop, the course has a haunting "North Carolina" feel.

| I feel that this is an average course at best. Yes the staff is very pleasant which helps, but I feel it is a little over priced. Most of the time the course is in very good shape. |

| Though not a member, I play this course often because it is really fun to play, it is fairly priced, and the whole staff is pleasant. The front nine is challenging because it is narrow. The back nine is open but I find that I am already tired and the back-to-back par 5s get the best of me. The 18th is a killer - but when you get the right drive it is the most fun! The only reason I don't join this club is because they don't have a driving range - I need to hit some balls before I start and I think it adds 6 to 8 strokes to my score on this course. But, it is still fun! |
