This challenging, yet fair course, features a front nine that is characterized by its wide open fairways built on flat terrain and narrow back nine that plays through the woods. The greens are all elevated and fast. It is far better to be short and in front of the greens then to be pin high and off to the side. A very easy course to walk with only a handful of holes more than thirty or forty feet away from the previous green.

Challenging Windy course, Jan 20, 2009
reviewer: SHL from Ocean Shores
They have recently installed sprinklers into the front nine on this course so the fairways are in great condition. On most days there is a wind blowing so the course can be very hard to hit greens in regulation. The greens are good with an even slope and are are built above the course so if you miss you have a harder chip shot. The front nine winds through trees and is lined on both sides with houses so you have to be accurate on tee shots. Also many trees to affect wayward shots. The back nine opens up into a links style course with water hazards and high grass. This area can be the windiest. I have played this course many times and each time it is almost a different course due to the weather. It can be foggy, windy, rainy or sunny and each plays different. Overall a very challenging course to play, especially in high winds.

the front nine has very few trees, more of a links style course and the backside is tight with out of bounds on every hole. course plays difficult especially with the winds they get there. definately a challenging course.
