This executive course is hilly, so expect many uneven lies. Even though there aren't any water hazards on the course, there are some sand bunkers and trees that will affect your shots. The greens are slow, but not difficult to read. The 4,797-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 65.0 and slope of 106. | Most golf courses in South California are wide open let it fly fairways with giant greens. The only real challenge is trying to catch the beer cart at the right hole.
Playing Center City is like going back in time to the early days of golf. Courses that followed the landscape, narrow fairways, postage stamp greens and deadly trouble on most holes that would challenge the best of players. Most first timers whom I've golfed with
at The Goat humbly put they're oversized hammers
back into they're oversized bags and proceed to learn how to be a shot maker. The city is improving The Goat every year and still keeping prices low. Add a great staff and friendly patrons to the list and you have a fun test of golf. Thank you Center City!!!!!!!! |

| A great place for a practice round with good practice facilities, a short but challenging course and friendly staff. If the greens were in better shape it would bring the standard of play up quite a bit. Great value for the money. |
