This course was built on rolling terrain and features many rock bluffs in the design. The greens are elevated, and the fairways are fairly wide and tree lined. There are no water hazards on this course, but there are plenty of sand bunkers coming into play throughout the design. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Greatest little destination golf course!, Jul 07, 2004

If you like warm weather golf and good, challenging upside down bowl shaped, fair speed greens with a great little RV park and a friendly host this is it. When the wind blows things cool off in the possible 100 degee summer heat but its time to start playing a few extra clubs into the wind and some great driving holes with the wind. Gary the owner keeps the course nice and makes a get away RV golf experience a memorable one. I have enjoyed Odessa for almost 20 years once a year and give it a solid four rating, its not Desert Canyon its Odessa!

"Great Course"
This is one of the funnest courses that I have ever played. The open layout and scenic views made it a spectacular experience. The work crew and the people there are the greatest. With a work crew of only 5, the course is in fabulous shape and is comparable to some of the best. The fairways are in imaculate condition.

La Paloma Country Club - Canyon/Hill Course
"Tough Nicklaus course in beautiful resort setting"
La Paloma golf course (any of the comibinations) is as tough a test of golf as you will ever have. If your game is not on, it will be a long, long day. Course condition is great and is set in one of the nicest resorts you will ever see. Amenities are first cabin all the way (enjoy a great lunch on the patio following your round). Staff is cordial and helpful. Forecaddies required of all groups help keep play moving and they truly earn their money. One of the nicest golfing experiences I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy -- if you can -- I urge you to play La Paloma.

Royal Poinciana Golf Club - Cypress Course
"Best Course"
My grandfather belongs to this course. Not only is it beautiful, but it provides a unique challenge at every hole. I have yet to play a course that matches the beauty and unique design of Cypress.
