This course is maintained and operated by volunteers. The terrain is flat, and water hazards come into play on four holes. The fairways are fairly tight because of the young trees lining them, and the small greens are undulating. The green fees indicated are good for all-day play.

This course needs attention by someone that knows how to maintain a golf course. This course could have lots of potential if somebody would just put the time and money into it that it needs.

I like to play this course in the winter when most of the other courses in the area are under water. It is also a great confidence building course for early-season golf. Always an enjoyable round. Oh yeah, the soup in the snack bar is awesome!

Miacomet Golf Club
"The food buzz"
The word is out and Miacomet will no longer be the "best kept secret" on the Island. I got a sneak peek at the course and played the new 9 in the fall, and enjoyed the layout of the grounds, but the real jewel here is the restaurant. I wouldn't have guessed from the outside or even the inside atmosphere, but I had the best calamari I've had on the island and was so intrigued with the dinner menu that I returned that night. My husband and I had a very elegant dinner at an affordable price; he was so pleased with his grilled sirloin and vegetables and I raved about my pecan-crusted salmon for the rest of the week. I can't wait to play the course again in the spring, and my husband and I really look forward to our next night out dining at the Club. Compliments to the chef, Ernest Taukus, and the rest of the Miacomet staff.

Pinecrest Golf Course
