A couple holes have long water shots. It's difficult to get over one unless you have a good drive. Good people. Pretty easy greens.

Hilltop Country Club
"Neatest course in Texas"
I went and played a round of golf at the Hilltop Country Club last week for the first time. It was an expereince,the course is set up real cool. I was a high school golfer who would have loved to get out of school and walk to go play golf rather than riding 30 minutes on a bus to and from practice everyday. The course is on the grounds of Troup ISD.And after I got finished playing golf I walked to the 19th and had a cold budlight.The bar has what ever you want,and the ladies were so nice.

Ramsey Golf Club
"Good Challenge"
Although Ramsey might not be in the best shape it is still a very challenging course with a tough layout. You can find yourself in trouble of pretty much every hole on the course if you don't hit it straight or know how to shape your ball. Take advantage of the easy start Holes #1 and #2 provide as the rest of the front can be a major challenge. The back 9 can be long but there isn't as much trouble.

the golf course is kept in as good of condition as any public golf course you will ever play. The people are extremely friendly and you are treated like family. the pro shop has the best selection of equipment that I have ever seen in a public course and the best prices anywhere.... A REAL PLEASURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
